Hidden Beauty Gem in Gwangjang Market! My Honest Review of ‘OFF BEAUTY’ in Seoul｜Discounted Sulwhasoo, Dior & More

Today, I’d love to share a hidden treasure I recently discovered in Seoul’s famous Gwangjang Market – a unique beauty shop called OFF BEAUTY. If you think Gwangjang Market is only about food and vintage shopping, think There’s a whole world of skincare and cosmetics waiting to be explored here!


Located in the Euljiro/Yeji-dong section of Gwangjang Market, OFF BEAUTY stands out with its industrial warehouse-style interior and iconic purple crates stacked neatly.


At first glance, it looks like a warehouse – but trust me, it’s a paradise for beauty lovers!


Once inside, I was amazed by the wide variety of products. From luxury department store brands to affordable skincare, the selection was incredibly diverse:


• Sulwhasoo gift sets and ampoule kits

These luxurious Korean skincare sets are often pricey, but here, they were available at surprisingly reasonable prices. Perfect for gifting or treating yourself!

• AHC eye creams, tone-up creams, sheet masks

AHC products were much more affordable here than in stores, and they even had single-use packs—great for trying out without committing to full-sized bottles.

• Dior lipsticks and skincare

I was thrilled to spot some Dior products (especially lipsticks!) at discounted prices. I grabbed one for around 30% off—such a steal!

• Beauty devices and tools

From LED face masks to scalp massagers, OFF BEAUTY also stocks trendy gadgets and all the small accessories like eyelash curlers and cotton pads.


The best part? The price!

Sulwhasoo sets were around 110,000 KRW ($85), Dior lipsticks were about 30,000 KRW ($23), and AHC eye creams started at 8,000 KRW (~$6). Some items were up to 50% off retail prices. Amazing, right?


Each product was clearly labeled with its price, making browsing and comparing super easy. Plus, the staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions or restock shelves.

The store layout was neat and intuitive. The “recommended items” section near the entrance featured best-sellers and seasonal picks. Self-shopping is encouraged, but helpful staff are always nearby.


I also loved the consistent “% OFF BEAUTY” signs on discounted items—it made it easier to find the best deals without hunting through every shelf.
